Count me in. I fixed it with a stove bolt and then junked them for a set of Lippert replacement steps. Very happy with the Lippert steps.

Top rivet on the top of the four step model broke. Dealer repaired with a bolt instead of the rivet. Will see how it holds up.

We haven't had the steps break, but we did have the securement nuts work loose. They are on the outside of the step at the top. You need an extremely long extension to reach up between the coach and the steps.

Yep I have 2 sets of steps on my 2015 3735MK and both had bolts break so I just replaced the bolts and then bought step supports and those help BIG TIME, not a problem since

I always put those yellow leveling blocks under my steps I feel better about walking down them this way. The last thing I need is to fall through the bottom step and break something. Still work for a living and need to stay safe. If I were to change anything the steps would be the first thing to go. I have not seen a good replacement for the four step system that ours came with if there is a better step out there please post the web site to them for us.

Lippert doesn't make the aluminum ones I have in a four step model, but you might look into these and see what you think: http://lci1.com/manual-radius-steps

We had ours "spring", for lack of better description. The bottom step would bounce or spring when stepped upon. Year 1/2 after we owned the rig. Keystone replaced it outside warranty period. Truth be told they made stair manufacturer replace it. The new one is better quality. The second set broke from "blunt force trama"! Good Sam replaced it.

In the two places we stay the longest (Illinois 4 months - Florida 5 months) I utilize a 4'x 4' custom deck with stairs so the factory steps don't get used except for 3 or 4 months traveling. We have thought they were a little weak so we place support under the bottom when using them. After reading these posts though it may be a good preventive maintenance measure to replace any rivets with high grade bolts.

Keystone replaced the steps or provided bolts? Interested in this since I have not pursued a warranty claim on this, but it is under consideration and I only have a couple of weeks to decide. Was this the newer four step models?

Ours were developing quite a lean on the side away from the door side. Enough so that the dealer replaced them under our extended warranty.

We as MOC'rs bought our own bolts. Keystone has replaced the steps. If having problem with keystone try Lippert. Yes it's a different design. If your old one is made by Hickory springs, the new is by lippert. Much much sturdier.

Our 13 Big Sky was built May of 2012. The steps look sturdy and show no signs or weakness or failure. We do have some step supports and will now use them as with our luck with Montana's we will one day step out of the camper and the steps will fall off the camper.
