Eastern State Storage

Hi all,

My partner Chris will need medical treatment and I now have to go back to Australia for about 3+ months. I need to store our Montana 3100 and Chev Silverado.

My problem is my return ticket to Australia is from LA and I need to find a storage facility close to access to an airport with an airline that flies to LA.

Can anyone suggest a facility that may suit. I am currently in the Catskills, NY and I will start heading south Monday. Any state from here to Georgia will do.

Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Your mate,
Rosco

I use a storage unit to store my work trucks. They would have room for them and I can keep an eye on them for you. A flight from New Bern to Charlotte, NC will connect you to LA.

Rosco, our offer still stands on storing your unit and truck out at our farm here in Nebraska if you want to make it out here before leaving. You can fly out of Omaha to LA in you like also. Drop me a PM if you are interested!

You could store it with us at Camping World in Fayetteville NC. We are only about 3 miles from our airport with connections to Atlanta and LA

5 miles South of Charlotte N.C. Airport is Fort Mill S.C. KOA which has a fenced in secure storeage & RV service ctr next store. A good friend of mine uses it every year and just left his 38' F/W there yesterday. The storeage # 803-548-0030 and the KOA is 888-562-4430 Good Luck

Larry (Hook) thanks to you and Camping World Fayetteville management for stepping up to help our MOC friend Ross Myers or Roscoe as we all know him. Chris, his lovely wife is back in the Melbourne Australia area awaiting serious surgery. Many of us have met Chris and if you like Roscoe, which we all do, love Chris. Roscoe is a great guy and that you can help in this time of need says a lot about CampingWorld and it's concerns. Thanks for helping. You guys are great!

Once again the MOC has come through.

Thanks all for your offers.

Thanks also for your prayers for Chris.

I have decided to take up Larry's offer and head to Fayetteville. It suits our travel plans better as when we come back we want to travel the eastern states.
I only hope we can meet up with you again at the next Annual Goshen Rally.
We will try and make the Tampa Rally but that will depend on Chris's progress.
I will keep all concerned informed.

Cheers,
Rosco

lots of input....you can also just google an area or use craigslist....both work well. just get your map out and figure out what airport you want to fly out of.

Rosco - I am glad you were able to hook up with Larry at Fayetteville. He will take good care of things while you are away. Lynne & I will be thinking of Chris (& you) and be hoping for a positive outcome. Make sure you contact us when you both get back, Lynne still owes Chris a lesson for the bracelet. Safe travels to the both of you.

Talk about TV news.
The other day I was watching the CBS (I think) news and they said Australia was burning in bush fires.
They showed a map which depicted bush fires burning from South Australia around the eastern coastline through Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and well into the Northern Territory. Thats 3/4 of Australia burning!
I immediately checked with Yahoo World News and it turns out to be quite serious but confined along the NSW coastal areas.

Add some BS and you turn a local disaster into world news.
