Roof Damage
I have a 2007 Montana 3475. I hit a low hanging branch and made about 8 small perforations in the horizontal to vertical transition on the left front. This is abut a 3 ft. area. Should I have the whole roof replaced or would a repair using something like Dicor Patchit Roof Repair Kit? Has anyone used this product. If this is good I would do the rest of the roof Dicor Cool Coat.
It would be nice to not to have to replace the whole roof yet.

Use eternabond tape and follow the application directions with particular emphasis on the preparation of the roof material.

I'd also use the eternabond.

Two winters ago I put a couple small holes in my roof. I used the Dicor patch kit then but have since found and purchased the Eternabond.
The Dicor is holding up well. Just do the prep. I radiused the corners on the patches so there is no sharp pointed corner to be caught by anything like a fat foot.

Yes, this is the way to go. I carry a roll of Eternabond tape with us all the time. I buy it here. Cheaper than buying the patch kits. This is the tape I buy. RSW-4-50

Not as bad as yours, but a low branch did rip a small 2" tear in mine 3 yrs ago. Eternabond has held well.

Be prepared when you are ready to place the eternabond tape on the roof. Where you place it is where it is going to stay. You have one chance. I have four places on my roof. One where I drove into a tree limb, the others are small areas from a couple of falling tree limbs onto the roof. (Sometimes happen when parking under trees, oh but the nice shade when it is hot)

thanks everyone I ordered The eternabond. I also ordered enough Kool Seal and primer to recoat the rest of the roof. Now all I have to do is wait for the snow to melt off of it. I will then wash the roof really well with Tide laundry soap.

Dicor recommends Dawn Dish soap. I wouldn't use Tide.

Adding to Orv's statment, we use the Blue Dawn or you could use unscented if there is such a thing. Do not use anything with citrus scent since it has been identified as a bird attractant!

Agree, use Dawn only. Also, Tide is so slick when wet there is no way I would take a chance of being on the roof with it. Your head will be almost 20' off the ground when you start your fall because of how slick Tide and water is.
