Goodby Vietnam

Some will find this comforting, some may not, some will not understand it at all. It's all OK.

Very moving video. I have nothing but utmost respect for the veterans of all eras.
I would likely have been there myself except when drafted in 1969 I was sent home due to a heart murmur. Always had mixed feeling about that. On the one hand I was glad I did not have to go thru some of that. On the other, I always felt somewhat remiss for not doing my part for our country.

A reminder that the suffering can and does continue long after the guns are silenced on the battlefield. Thanks for the post Mike.

Why did we not know about That in WWll. Family had a guy who worked for us . I Just knew him as Sarge He was a tanker during the battle of the bulge. He worked for us before the war and came back with what the other guys called "shell shocked".He could not do much and worked on the docks loading and unloading. He was in and out of VA hospital a lot. The other guys had the deepest respect for him and always looked out for him. I was just a young kid and never understood what was wrong with him.He worked for the family till the day he died.No one helped them.
