Ceiling vent opening
On the way to Quartsite we went through a big sand storm. The wind and vibration unscrewed the vent handle and allowed the ceiling vents by the shower and in the bathroom to open a little. Needless to say, Mama was not happy with all the sand and grit in the coach. Anyone have a neat trick to keep the vents closed?????

Cover them with a Maxx-Aire cover or similar perhaps?? Also lets you open them in the rain. Come to think of it, I still have to get one for the rig, had them on the 3400, but need to put them on the new rig.

X2 on the covers. Have them on both vents. Haven't hit a sandstorm yet, but they sure work well in the rain.

While at the Tampa RV Show, I talked to the Fantastic Fan people and they told me they are coming out with a cover now for their vents. You're suppose to be able to put it ove the FF vent and it will be able to open all the way like it does normally. The MaxAir covers won't let the FF open all the way. It's suppose to be coming out soon at Camping World and your local dealers!

We have them on all our vents, why? Because we had a wet bed once lol lol. Someone forgot to close the vent over the bed and while we were out it poured. Someone had to sleep on the wet spot. lol lol
