First Outing this Year

Cindy and I are on our fist outing this year. Weather is perfect, campground is 5 stars. We are at Victoria Bryant State Park in Georgia. We got a pull thru with shad, and a great view.

Hooked up the power cord, and the Hubble end that goes into the Monty, I could see colored wires, so took it out and the end of the connector fail off... lucky I had my tool box, and all is good now.

Enjoy! The worst thing about the first outing of the year for me was that the end was wasted by thinking about the next outing(s).

Great looking site. How far is it from I-75?
Looks like a great place to stay if we ever go through GA again.
Have a great time.

It is just off I85 (just Southwest of Winder, GA).

I am so jealous, George should be ok to travel on May 11th after his eight weeks of down time from his surgery . I am going to be packed and ready to go on the 10th. Hope he can make it because I plan to be gone. He does not know it yet but I am getting prepared. I cannot wait.

We were supposed to go today but I am still recuperating, so it will have to wait a few more weeks. Enjoy.

Rosetta-- Just tell George to climb in the navigators seat and "relax and leave the driving to us"! You've had excellent training and can handle it!!
7.3Ford-- Looks great and hope you enjoy the outing! Can't wait till we get a chance to head out for our first outing this year!

Update... had some time to explore.. Campground only has 27 RV sites and 8 tent sites, but there isn't a bad site in the whole place. All have level ground, including the where the table, fire ring, etc. The entire came site has pee size gravel. Only draw back might be summer, when it gets hot... elevation is only 725 MSL. Tent sites have covered wood deck that looked like 24x24, with railing all the way around, as they are up 6-8 feed on the down hill size.. really nice if you are camping in a tent.

Although you can make reservation, sites are first come, since we arrived on Thursday, wasn't a problem for us. Check in and checkout is 1:00PM, but we found several people arrive this morning at 9:00AM Friday... so come early if you come here.

Rosetta:

My spouse is about to have surgery (this week) and will need some TLC for a while. She's angling to make me into some kind of nurse and I'm resisting the whole thing; never looked good in a skirt and I'm not from Scotland.

Could George handle light duty like getting coffee, adjusting pillows, listening to whining, etc? If so we could work out a deal.

If we can get him into a nurse outfit, you and I could leave now!

Just sayin'. By May 11th he can join you and I'll be able to take over nursing duty after the worst is over.
