User ID????

It's been awhile since this was asked and there are so many new User ID's out there that we need to know how you all arrived at your User ID.

Glenn and Lorraine --- I think it's obvious but just in case I'm Glenn and the DW is Lorraine

We used to breed horses, and EMBRACEATREND was our very first babies name.

I screwed up and misspelled my username. It should have been "sreagle" meaning "senor eagle." I was left on a raft at sea as a newborn and drifted to shore in Mexico where a band of eagles grabbed me by the diaper and took me to their aerie. I picked up some of their culture and they picked up some of mine. They discovered the mice in the fields were not afraid of me, so they trained me to be their spotter. They taught me to soar from the aerie and to alight near a field, or sometimes a small town, full of mice where I would act as the spotter so they could swoop down for dinner. Eventually I was old enough to take off on my own and I built my own aerie. But I found this lovely lass in a nearby town so I'd swoop down to woo her just about every evening. The townsfolks eventually discovered my presence but nobody knew my name. So they just started calling me "Senor Eagle" and the moniker just kinda stuck.

ncfischers- North Carolina Fischers. I had to make it something that I'd remember. I just realized that we can't move out of state with that ID.

Icehouse. We live in Alaska and, at the time, we were full-time in the Montana.

Picked up the name of Rondo while working for the PO. We had four Ron's in the station I was working at and if someone got a call from a patron or from home(this was back many moons ago and now they don't let you answer a phone call unless it is an emergency). Anyway, they would say Ron you have a call and all four of us would drop our mail and head to the phone. Needless to say the supvr was not happy about that so we came up with a "handle" for each of us! I has stuck for over 30 years now and I'm still known to a lot of my fellow carriers as Rondo even though I changed stations and am now retired from the PO. I get calls yet and they ask for Rondo! DW hasn't resorted to it yet but does have some other names for me at times! So I just used it here!

I'm getting old and I wanted something to remember. So now I can pull out my driver's license and see that my first name is Wayne, and my last name begins with M, hence waynem. Yup, boring after the Foo Bird post.

KTManiac, I'm crazy about my KTM 525 EXC dual-sport motorcycle, essentially, a street legal dirt bike.

First name, last initial. A throw back to my pre-internet bulletin board days when you had to dial each BBS seperately (before Al Gore fixed it for us). No imagination I guess.

Again, ours seems to simple as well. We started with the 1st 3 letters of each of our 1st names which would be DarMau. That didn't seem too appealing so we switch it up to using Maureen's 4th in place of the 3rd and it has just stuck with us for many years.
