House is under contract

Well, the house is under contract, now we need the fiver!
Can anyone give us some objective comparisons/feedback/info as we are considering a Montana and a Thor Grand Junction?
Thanks
Al

Congratulations, Al, for getting an offer on your house. One big step closer to fulltiming. In the past Thor has not had a very good reputation for quality workmanship. That may have changed. Keystone has a pretty good reputation for standing behind their products so around here you'll get a lot of positive comments from satisfied Montana owners. The Montanas are not perfect either but we like to say "they're the best bang for the buck".

It is not about what we think, it's about what you think. All of the Montana owners bought Montanas. I believe you put your money where your heart is. So Montana got our money.

Sit in it, if you can, stay over night in it. Imagine your life in it such as the amount of storage, the closeness or openness of the floorplan. Think about what is really important to you. The invest in what fits into your lifestyle choices and your budget.

Congratulations on the sale. Things can happen pretty quickly, so good luck. We sold our house the first of June last year and had 30 days to get out. We had been planning for this for almost a year so we were able to pull it off.

Keystone is owned by Thor, so you might due equally well with either. Just look them over very carefully as quality and workmanship can vary and you will find a number of things with almost any rig. For that reason I suggest you live in it for several weeks, with short trips to work out the bugs before you set out on a big trip.

The big decision is how big of a trailer, what you plan to do with it and what options you want. Look at a lot of trailers to see what you like and don't like. It will also give you a good feel for what workmanship and quality of material is like. Look at some used ones to see how they hold up. The looking is half the fun. Good luck and enjoy.
