What a wedding!

A little boy was in a relative's wedding. As he was coming down the aisle, he would take two steps, stop, and turn to the crowd.
While facing the crowd, he would put his hands up like claws and roar. So it went, step, step, ROAR, step, step, ROAR, all the way down the aisle.
As you can imagine, the crowd was near tears from laughing so hard by the time he reached the pulpit.
When asked what he was doing, the child sniffed and said, "I was being the Ring Bear. "

What a cute story, Carol!

When our son got married in July, our precious grandson was the "ring bear". We forgot to share with Daniel one important fact...the rings on his pillow were fake. When they started the ring exchange part of the ceremony, he looked at Grandma with a big, proud smile and moved his pillow closer to the groom. What a shock when they took the ring out of the best man's pocket!

Judy, it brought back a few memories for our family as well, our youngest, about 7 years old at the time, was in the wedding of my brother. Tuxs of course, ivory, of course. Al and I were the photographers (did one wedding, we will never do another, MAN that is a lot of work!!!) and it was less than 30 minutes BEFORE the ceremony. Our 7 year old son decided that the HUGE vestibule at the church looked like a good place to practice sliding into home, or something like that. Believe me, that floor was NOT that clean, and you know what his knees looked like. Eldest son and mother-in-law grabbed him, waved me off, and charged into the closest rest room, somehow they got most of it off and DRY!! They figured if I got within grabbing distance, something ugly might happen, OR that I was going to just keel over on the floor from shock and grief! Humorous now, was NOT at the time! HA HA, 22 years changes the perspective!

In 1950 a 4 year old boy was the "Ring Bear" in his aunt's wedding. He somehow managed to knock over the candles and set the train of his his aunt's wedding gown on fire. There was a lot of stomping going on in the aisle, nobody was hurt and the ceremony was completed.

Aunt Joanne says she still loves me though!
