We are about 20 miles from Castle Rock. We also are a 1000 feet higher than Denver. We live in Elbert County.
Picture was the blizzard of 2003, I think. This picture was taken from inside our walk out basement at the patio door.

Have you ever been to the R&R hall of Fame. If not it would make a nice trip. We get there at least 5 or 6 times a year on school or charter trips. It is only about 30 miles from our driveway. The Science museum is right next door so it makes for a interesting day for a bus driver as we get into everything free. The trip is tomorrow, had my days mixed up. I actually saw the Beetles up close when they came to Cleveland many, many years ago.We then were working at Cleveland Hopkins airport Tower and their plane was right below our equipment room window.

Rich,

Lucky you! I was too young and my parents wouldn't let a 10 year old go to a show like that with "those type" of people. So the rest of my life I said I would never do the same thing when I had kids, which of course meant I had to take my daughters to see NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys ! I have a friend that used to live there and she said the R&R Hall of Fame was wonderful!

Snow brush, yes. I still have a couple of those in the truck since we do November and December in Kansas City. I just never heard them called that. Thanks for the enlightenment.

Steve,

If you don't call them snow brushes, what do you call them? Just curious.

I know! I know!

Ice scrapers...
See if you had a Prevost H3-45 you would not need them either. Heated washer fluid... LOL!
