Rain in Arizona

Its true. After a recrd breaking dryspell, it is raining steady across central Arizona. It's been almost 5 months. I even moved a metal garbage can onder a down spout so I can hear the downpour rattle off the cover. It is a truly wonderful day.

Guess that song "Rain, rain go away, come again another day" isn't too popular there! Glad you finally got some rain!!!

We have had rain in San Diego for the last three days but today we took a ride and ran into SNOW. Lots of it. Not something we wanted to run into, that's for sure.

Yes, winter has finally come to So. CA. We needed the rain really bad. Snow level is LOW. We live at the foot of Mt. San Jacinto with other mountains all around us. Even the foothills have snow. It is really pretty because we can look up at it and we don't have to shovel or drive in the white stuff.
Happy trails.........................

Raining here in Yuma after 143 days. Our site looks like a lake, or did last night! We can see out of the shower skylight again. (it was covered with sand) Freshened everything up and hopefully there will be some blooms to see soon!

Sue & Phil,
We are heading down to Yuma and hope to be there by about the 28th of this month. We, however are traveling south to get "away" from the rain here in Washington State!! I'm sure they need the rain there in Yuma, but....., I also sure hope its done raining by the time we get there. Where abouts are you all staying in Yuma? Maybe we can stop by and meet you both and say hi?

Joy

I can only imagine what the desert is going to look like with all the flowers budding now that the rain has finally come. I know the lakes really need the water down in that neck of the woods, glad to hear you are finally getting it.

Rain is nice. Glad AZ is getting some rain.
We are getting snow here. May get more snow this weekend. But it melts in a day or two.
