heat in front bed room

We just purchased a 2017 3721 RL. It has the two ac/heat pump, dual zone comfort. Here is my question how do I keep the front bed room comparable in warmth as the living room. Its comfortable but I can definitely tell the difference. I am only running the main furnace and not the heat pumps.

Get a ceramic heater for supplemental heat. I've had 3 Montanas and they all have had but one vent in the bedroom. Even with the "hot air rises" law of nature ... all have been a bit cooler running just the propane furnace.

Less venting in the bedroom. You will have to augment as suggested above.

You could fire up the heat pump portion of your A/C, but that may prove noisy compared to a small heater. The whisper quiet front A/C "whispers" pretty loud on some units.

Agreed, a small ceramic heater will give you the heat you require in the bedroom. We also find if we leave the bedroom door open more heat will find it's way up to the bedroom but otherwise the ceramic heater does the trick.

I guess we're the "Odd Ones", since we only use the Bedroom for sleeping, we try to keep it much cooler that the Living Area, but we do have a dual control heated mattress pad if it gets too cold in there.

Our new 2017 also has the dual control system with a thermostat in the kitchen area and one in the bedroom. We have not been out where we had to use heat or AC yet. What is the purpose of the thermostat in the bedroom. Does it control heat and AC for that area?

No we're in there with you. We sleep with the bedroom door open and that means we get the warmest air in the house up there. When it's a good deal below freezing and the furnace is running a lot we actually feel it gets too warm up there, even with the thermostat set on 58 degrees.

I think how much "baby fat" one has kept since birth plays into our answers ... Ha! If my RV thermostat was set on 58 this time of year ... Janice would be in a motel calling me on her cell phone if she had something to talk about.

That's only at night with the blankets on. 66-68 in the day time.
