5 tires mounted and balanced, out the door $1660. That's a Goodyear dealer. Sounds like I found my place.

No, the 85's are the only size, I believe and that's what we all are using. No problems.

Plus, that's the size Montana puts on when you buy them factory installed.

Thats certainly a great deal. I paid more then that back in 2010. I know everyone thinks highly of the Goodyear, although they haven't had the greatest track record, many documented cases of blowouts. My next set will definitely be S637 Sailuns at a much better price then Goodyear, and a far better track record.

Don't know of any documented cases of 614 blowouts. Surely there have been some, but all I'm aware of is failures due to road hazards and I doubt Sailuns will do any better running over a pair of scissors. That said, if Sailuns prove out over the next few years I'll be looking at them when I need to replace my current 614's.

Google G614 blowouts or reviews may change your mind. Then google Sailun S637. Would be curious as to what you come up with.

Ok, still of all the 614 owners I know there has not been a single problem and most monitor their tires religiously. If you check tire rating services you'll see the blowouts are rare to say the least and again I'll say when the same number of Sailuns have been out there for the same number of years and miles, it they perform better I'm interested. Until then I'll keep pushing my 614's for more years and miles.

Dick I think they are both good tires. Probably more failures on the Goodyear due to the larger amount of tires in use. The only thing I found on blowouts on the Sailun's was when they were not rated for dually use and a guy had them on his dually and blew one. I am sure there are people who are better at searching the web than myself but I went with the Sailun's due to the price and performance. Time will tell as more people and RV manufactures install the Sailun's.

The Sailun S637 tires, now designated as ST tires, although they are still the same tire, and now come in the 80 series as well as the 85 series, and the Goodyear G614, which is still rated as an LT tire and is only in the 85 series, are all listed as for trailer use only. The change in the Sailuns from an LT rating to an ST rating has something to do with import tariffs. So, anyone using these on anything other than a trailer is risking quick failure.

I have heard nothing but good about the Sailun tires but they are manufactured by TBC the same manufacturer of the Trailer King and Tow Max tires. So i purchased the Goodyear G614 from Amazon for $166.00 ea 2416 date code

Bob in my research the Sailun's used to be only for SRW and now are rated foe DRW so it seems that it would have been trailer tire or SRW truck before and now that they have a duall tire rating that they are for LT duty also. This is just my opinion from the research that I did. I have been wrong before, just ask my wife. .

They do make an S637 for heavier applications, much larger wheels than we are dealing with. The newest product info for the S637 tires for the 16 inch wheels, and in the G rating are shown in this link for the Sailun's.
http://www.gosailun.com/MRT/Tire/S637T
They are no longer designated as LT rated as the G614 Goodyear's are rated, but that was only to get the 75 mph rating and still are also rated for trailer application. The single tire weight capacity is higher now than it was previously. It does show a dually rating, but that is for trailers that have dual tire axles.
