I will never again install trailer tires on anything that i own! Light truck highway tires do not reach maximum capacity until 106mph (may vary slightly). Trailer tires are "maxed out" at 65 mph; this means that as speed increases, load capacity decreases! My nephew and his crew have been testing this 'theory' for the past 4 years. He and his guys tow heavy fifth wheels with four wheelers and other gear in toy haulers while working gas field production projects nation wide. They currently ALL use Light Truck tires and have logged 860k miles without a single tire failure except for an ocasional leak caused by puncture. These guys tow 80mph, 500 mile days routinely.

I currently have Firestone HT LTs on my truck with about 16000 towed miles.

I am trying to confirm this but I thought that the Sailun S637's and the Goodyear 614's were both rated for 75 MPH which I think would be a speed rating of L. As for light truck verse trailer I do not have all the answers. In 8 k LB axles with 16" wheels what all tires are available? In 7K LB axles with the 16" wheels I had trouble getting high weight rating for my truck with semi narrow stock rims. In my opinion the two models of tires that I mentioned above would probably be my choice for my rim size over all other tires including LT tires. These are H rated tires around 4000 lbs capacity and weight sixty some pounds apiece.

Sorry, but the two tires you listed are "G" rated tires. The G614 is rated at 3750, not sure of the Sailun, but probably the same. Normally to get the "H" rated tires you have to move up to 17.5 wheels and they get 4805 Lbs capacity

My mistake Michael, thanks for catching it. It should have been G series not H series. I wish I had the 17.5's for piece of mind but it probably is not going to happen. I can settle for 540 lbs per tire over the axle for an extra 2160 lbs In a set of four. As for the Sailun 637 tire it is rated for 4080 in tandem. Hope I did that equation correctly.

Specifications
Size ST235/85R16
Capacity Single 4,080 LBS @ 110 PSI
Capacity Dual 3,640 LBS @ 110 PSI
Service Description 129/125 L
Ply Rating 14
Diameter 31.8"
Width 9.3"
Tread Depth 12/32
