"The 42 foot, 44,000-pound GVWR.....
...."it takes off like a golf cart"
Really, I am...really...trying to wrap my head around this.
I just can't get past my mindset I guess...you know, where the only way 22 tons takes off like a golf cart is over a cliff.
Interesting if this is going to be the "way of the future"...funny they neglected to reveal how many batteries, eh?

180 miles on a charge. If that's on a flat road, it will probably go 180 feet up hill. We're gonna need an awful lot of charging stations installed on our interstates.

They have to manufacture 20 RVs a day for the next four years to make that goal. Are there that many rich Chinese to purchase 30,000 $1,000,000 RVs? And WE don't have the capability to build charging stations every 180 miles, but the Chinese DO?
So plan on 180 miles, then a 24-hour stop for charging, then another 180 miles, the 24 hours for charging... right.
RV.net has an article here with more details of this fairy tale.

I'm willing to bet that it will never come to be a reality, not even in a couple of decades. It's nothing more than a pipe dream.
Beam me up also.

Ozz, RVing just does not seem like an activity the Chinese would embrace.

That is an interesting comment. Could you share your reasoning? Personally I can't see why ANYONE would not like RVing. Just a thought. Thanks, Dennis

I think it's an economic reality. These are projected to be extremely expensive vehicles. I doubt many of US would be able to purchase one of these, and I don't think there are that many wealthy Chinese party members to buy all these RVs.

Yesterday I heard that China is the second largest economy in the world second only to USA. I think that would mean they have a significant amount of discretionary money. Whether they have as many potential RVers as do we is very doubtful. Thank you for the reply. Dennis
