MOCers in KC trash Casino Buffet

This afternoon a motley crew of MOCers laid waste to the Ameristar Casino Buffet. Much food was demolished as well as many desserts. This disreputable group consisted of Rondo (and his wife Mary) Exnavydiver, labmom, Mudchief (and his wife Linda), and Jimcol (and his wife Linda). A great time was had by all and Beau even got some treats smuggled out of the buffet. Another MOC circle was formed after the demolition of the buffet but all had to stand as none of us would have been able to get off of the ground if we had laid down for the picture. Hopefully the buffet will be able to reopen in a few days after extensive restocking thanks to Jim Collins. The dessert area may fair better since Rondo wasn't that hungry...P.S. We missed the mighty OZ as he and his wife had to work.

Darn we missed a buffet! How did that happen?

Sounds like you all had a great time...wish we could have been there.

I'm glad to see they were able to restock the buffet after my Uncle, Louise and I were there in June. One of the best buffets and casinos around. I just hope they can repair the damage before we go back next year.

A great time was had by all and we sure missed The Ozz and Sue! Wish he would have been able to make it since I've never met the Legend of MOC, maybe next time! Don't worry folks, I left you a bit of the dessert bar and I even let the chocolate fountain flow so Labmom could lean over and have her fill! The Circle was small but maybe next time we'll be able to get more of us together for a larger Circle.

We're always up for a trip to visit my Uncle. Let us know next time you're planning a trip to Ameristar-KC.

Dave, Thanks for the post. We had a great time. Sure missed Oz and Sue but all he gets to do anymore is work. To all who attend we had a ball. Dick, come on to KC, we'll eat with you and Louise. The Ameristar always likes to see me come to their table of plenty. Jim

I'll let you know when we plan our next trip. We have been to a number of Ameristars and this is by far the best.

Dick, we stay at the Worlds of Fun Village when we stay in KC and I asked if they were shutting down for the winter and they said they would keep a cluster of sites open all winter up at the top of the hill. Really great campground

Thanks Dave. When we visit my Uncle, in Warrensburg, Mo, we stay at Knob Noster. He doesn't get out too much so he really enjoys the drive to the casino, or should I say ride. We will keep that cg in mind if we are in KC w/o Uncle Lowell.
