I put some of this reflective tape on my pin box as a guide night or day...

Hooking up!

If you have a bed level tool box, white tape, if not white tape on the back glass. I have a 2021 GMC with in-bed camera, it is awesome. If you use a spotter never ever allow the spotter between the rear of the Truck and the 5th wheel. I have seen this before. Very dangerous.

Happy Trails.

Curious if the challenge to backing up a 4 x 4 tow vehicle to the king pin is because it sits much higher then a 4 x 2? I had that problem for 16 years with my 4 x 4. Hitching alignment is fast and easy witout special aus or a spotter with my new 4 x 2.

I've never had a 4x2 so I can't be sure. My issue is more my folding bed cover.

In that case, replace it with a retractable bed cover that does not interfer with rear vision and its lock provides a guide to line up the king pin.

I have a folding bed cover and a toolbox, but they can't interfere with the mirror.
