Rear/main AC
Took ours in for about 8 items on our warranty list.
One was when only 30 amp is available, outside temps is 85 AC cannot get temp below 80. Service advisor said you cannot run AC on 30 Amp. I think he is full of hooey. Anyone else hear of this?

No. Unless the design has changed on the new ac units? I have always been able to run one AC, but not two, on 30A Service.

Jeff,
You should be able to run one a/c on 30 amp with little else. Make sure and put your water heater and reefer on gas and turn the a/c off to run the microwave. One a/c will struggle even in 85 deg if the rig is hot and your are first cooling it down or humidity is high.

Yeah the service advisor made is sound like it would be damaged running on 30amp. I have an AC voltmeter plugged in and keep an eye on the voltage. I am thinking it may be that the AC air returns are crushed or restricting the flow. I looked but could not verify if was the problem or not
Humidity in Texas?
AC and Microwave? DW is designated circuit breaker tester.
It won't be until the end of June before we hear back.

With these new higher ceiling units and the whisper Quiet issues with air flow there is no way one AC can cool one of these units particularly if it's sitting in the sun. 98 here in Kansas today, high humitity and it takes both units to keep it around 80.

Are you sure the ceilings are higher, dick, and not cause age is dragging you down? At least it is not 35 and snowing. John
