I removed the pullout spout from the hose and then removed the check valve from the spout and behind that in the spout was a small piece with a tiny hole in it. I stuck a drill bit into it and pulled it out.
Put the check valve back in and replaced the spout on the hose.
WaLa. Now have normal flow in kitchen.

See: http://energy.ca.gov/2015publication...CMF-marked.pdf 1.8GPM maybe 2.2GPM if you're lucky.
As goes Kalifornia so goes the nation.......

I don't think anyone has a choice in whether you get a restrictor or not. Once it is yours you can do what you want.

Only in Kalifornia will the faucet police knock on your door and impound your faucet if you remove the restrictor. You will also get fined and some jail time. And your water will be turned off. You have been warned.
May also be known to the state of kalifornia to cause cancer.

Tattle Tail...Rat Fink....Snitch...

They will be knocking on my door in the morning to take my 5th wheel endorsement away and I will not be able to tow my water wasting Montana anywhere.

Thanks. After our AZ trip the Montana is back in hibernation. When I de-winterize, I'll look at it.

Yes, I took the head off the flexible hose and pulled out a plastic washer with a small hole in it. I won't know if that fixed it until I de-winterize but I think it will. I'll get a photo later today.

Pulling out the flow restrictor will give you more flow.
It will also allow the DW to fill the galley tank faster

I don't know what model you have, but for mine, yes, just unscrew the nozzle (didn't even need any tools) from the flexible hose, look in the nozzle and you will figure it out. I don't think I had to take anything in the nozzle apart; the flow restrictor just pops out. I'll get a picture tomorrow.

She's easy on the water; we have dry camped for years.

Here is a photo of the restrictor washer I pulled out. Simply unscrew the head from the flexible hose and pop it out. After I de-winterize next month, I'll see how it works.

I found two items restricting the flow. I could not see a use for either of them so I pulled them both out. The top one was between the flexible hose and the head, the other one was on the other end of the flexible hose. I also found a bunch of wood chips stuck in there.

While I was in the process of de-winterizing, my FloJet water pump failed; probably from the same junk that was clogging the faucet. I replaced it with a ShurFlo revolution pump (strainer on order). Now my water flow is great. It was a combination of removing the restriction, cleaning out the junk and replacing the water pump.

PS: The new pump is much quieter than the old one.

I talked to FloJet this morning, they said the pump had probably sucked dirt and construction debris from the fresh water tank. That checks since I found bits of wood in my kitchen faucet line. They will take a look at it and probably repair/replace under warranty (2 years).

He said these pumps need a strainer on them; I have one on order.

Thank you Keystone for the extra dirt and junk in my fresh water tank and thanks again for not installing a strainer on the pump as stipulated in the pump installation instructions.

Old thread but a new twist.

My kitchen faucet was flowing better for a while. Then it went slowly down to a trickle. I took out the cartridge and removed the pullout spout and blew the hose out with 110 PSI air from my compressor. Refilled the hose with water and blew it our two more times. Little pellets of calcium came out of the lines. Put it together again and now all is good. Wife is happy.

Go to Keystone montana Owners Group Facebook page.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/2740...1120790278328/

Jim Vititow had this problem and found a pinched water line.
I'm guessing the best way to find this would be to push an electricians fish tape down the suspect pipe and see(measure) where it stops. Then cut open the insulation an have a look.

https://www.amazon.com/Puller-Throug...1958693&sr=8-8

You would need to do this from each joint/branch of the affected pipe.

Hello! I completely understand you!!! We have the same problem with a kitchen faucet, the pressure isn't enough to hold the spray. When we ordered the faucet, we checked so many sites. And, you know, have you ever looked at these niche "professional review"?! Who are those professionals, who write that? Marketers? Sellers?
There was a review in one of such sources and it said to me it's ok to buy a faucet with 20-inch long retractable hose even in cases with low pressure. And what do we have now? Sometimes water can't even reach the top of this modern hose.

I have the same problem on my 3811 MS. I finally opened up the crawl space and discovered that Keystone use 3/8” PEX tubing which has 5 times the pressure drop of 1/2 PEX. I’m seriously planning to replace certain lines like to shower with 1/2”. I’m going to start with the spaghetti behind the service panel as I believe half the loss is right there. All of my previous rigs have had 1/2 lines. It’s a shame that they cut corners now since the cost difference is probably less than $100.

During our Jan - Feb stay in Arizona, we experienced very low water pressure in our new-to-us Montana. I removed ALL the low flow restrictors and the backflow preventer. It fixed the low pressure problems at that time. But now, after the RV has now been unused for 6 weeks, the pressure is worse than ever at ALL faucets. My only remaining option appears to be using water or air pressure at a faucet to backflush the lines. If that is unsuccessful, replumbing the unit may be necessary.

There is probably a simple solution, but we need more information. Is your current problem while you are hooked up to city water, using your water pump or both? Happening at all faucets and shower?
