Maiden Voyage
DW and I returned on Thursday after picking up our new 3400rl. We took the scenic tour home to southern WI via IN and IL, bypassing Chicago by about 150 miles. As I have never pulled a fifth wheel before, I had no desire to go through the "windy city"! All went well. We Walydocked in Watseka, IL and at 24 degrees it stayed very comfortable in the Montana. Now if only God would see fit to send a buyer our way for the house we could hit the trail and meet some of you fine folks. Keep Smilin'.... Dick P.S. Got the RV from Lakeshore RV in Muskegon MI. Salesman is called Montana Bob. Entire staff was great and very helpful.

We travelled through Chicago last year during July 4th. Smart move avoiding it altogether!

Dick,
Congrats on your new rig and your trip. As time permits, you may wish to include your truck and rig in your signature. On the MOC many glance at our signatures to see what we have to further help with any issues. Just a thought. Good Luck.

Congrats Dick & Eileen, you must live a little north of Rockford Illinois. We just bought our Montana in Wisconsin. We live in central Illinois and have a motor yacht docked in Muskegon MI. We are closing on the house April 26th and the boat April 30th and will begin our full-time adventure. It took over 2 years to sell the boat and 3 1/2 days to sell the house! Hang in there and it will all work out.

Congratulations. That is the unit that I would be interested in. They started to put the better insulation wrap on all of the 2013's.
