? motion sensing courtesy light
Anybody know how to remove the motion sensing light in the hall opposite the door in a 2019 3120RL. It is very dim. I think some of the led's quit.
I found a 5 pack of them on Amazon for the price of one at the dealers. Just have to figure out how to get the old one out. I cannot see any screws, and it doesn't want to pry out
Just break it out?

Can you send a pic of the light? The round ones will typically untwist to pop the lens off. The oval ones just need to use a small screw driver to pop off the lens. A pic will help.

On the ones you referenced, it looks like you get a screwdriver behind it and pop the cover off then the screws are accessible.

The outer black cover is held on by two little tips or catches that snap into the white part that is screwed to the wall.
I guarantee you will break the plastic tip off when trying to remove it. Mine still fit tight enough, one tip continues to hold it in place.
The white part with the light is attached to the wall with 2 screws. Once the black cover is removed, it's easy to unscrew.
Again ... you will break the plastic tip.

No it didn't break. I replaced the light with the 5 pack from Amazon. They are the same brand and fit using the same screw holes and I now have 4 spares.

How did you get to the wiring? There isn't enough spare wiring to barely pull it away from the wall. I'm thinking I'll just cut the old wires coming out of the bad light then splice the wires from the new light. Is that what you did?

[QUOTE=Rons32259;1220564]How did you get to the wiring? There isn't
Update: I finally got sick and tired of mine flickering on-and-off and decided to just disable it. I went ahead and unscrewed the entire thing off the wall and at first, covered everything with black tape. Then decided... oh heck no! I just cut the wire and taped up the wire ends. I had about 8 inches of free wire inside that tiny hole. I cut the wire between the light and it's connection point, if I ever want to install another light, and even put it on a true on-off toggle switch, I have plenty of wire to work with. In spite of all the crappy work the manufacture did on this camper when it was built, this is the ONE thing did right ... they left lots of wire there.

I had a lot of wire there, but just cut old one and crimped on new one.

The cover wouldn't pry off easily so I drilled holes in the corners of it and exposed the screws. The rest was easy.

I actually couldn’t figure out how it popped off and ended up prying the whole thing off the wall. Screws don’t hold in the paper thin wood anyway. I put screws in opposite corners on new one.
