New Model #3660/3661

Just noticed a new model on the Montana website a #3660/3661 model.

Interesting to notice the change to the bedroom configuration. Gone is the bench seat and the washer dryer prep appears to have a separate compartment with front facing door that swings out in the area that was previously a bench seat.

Makes a lot more sense to me and I wonder if a lot more of the 2016 models will be configured this way? Interesting inside/outside entertainment area as well.

Has anyone seen one anywhere?

Doesn't look like there is any storage in the bedroom if you put the washer/dryer in the closet. The only space you have for clothes storage is in the SMALL dresser and possibly some shelving in the closet which has become smaller because of the washer/dryer closet.

I noticed several different brands at this years RV shows that have 2 levels of hangar rods instead of one spanning the front closets. There is a post in the middle of the closet allowing the 2 levels of rods.

Yes of course, one has always had to weigh giving up closet space when installing a combo washer/dryer with any previous model having the "up front" prep but this new configuration allows for direct front access to the combo rather than having to almost get in the closet for access as before.

Unfortunately not many floor plans have had a separate space for the combo besides the front closet and that is why we have the early 3610 floor plan.

We bought our Montana last year and thought we were going to install W/D for sure until we saw how much space we would lose and how hard it would be to get into either one with clothes hanging in front of doors. scratched that plan quick.

We saw a lot of that configuration at the Quartzsite show but no Montanas that way. Nothing look particularly great at the show where there was the "must have" or "we need to trade for that now" moment!
