Converter Cooling Fans Not turning on?

When I first got our 2013 3000RK I would occasionally hear the power converters cooling fans running. Afer a few months I replaced about 85% of the 12v bulbs with LED's. Since then I have never heard or seen the power converter fans run? I talked to Progressive Dynamics, the maker of the 4590 power distribution panel and charge wizard and they didn't give me to much to go on. I ran a test and turned on everything 12v that I could, while still connected to shore power and let it sit for 20 minutes, still no cooling fan. Anybody got any ideas on this issue? Should I not worry about it? Otherwise everything seems to be normal and the 3 year old 2x 6v batteries are charging fine. Thanks for you input.

You could always put the old bulbs back in and see if it turns on then. From what I've measured in our rig, one old bulb pulls roughly as much current as about eight or more LEDs.

Our converters have run quiet most of the time, with a small demand load. If everything is working ok, I would not worry about it, but just monitor. Our new unit is almost all LED, and the converter is extremely quiet, even with the fans running.

I too have noticed since replacing all the interior bulbs with led bulbs that the fans don't run. I haven't boondocked since then either, but I'm sure if you spend a night just on battery power, that the next day connected to AC power, the fans will run until the batteries are back up.

Replaced all the bulbs w/ LED in our 2011 3100RL in 2011, have not heard the fans come on since. Before 3rd or 4th light would start it running. Battery stays charged all seems to work well.
