Water Pressure Low on City Connection

We have been on the road now for about 3 months with no problems. Hooked up at a new CG today and the flow from the hose looked pretty strong. But when I hook it up to the trailer the inside flow rate is very slow. I checked that little valve inside the connection and it seems to be free. I am at a loss, any ideas?

Thanks

Bob-- While at the Central Plains Rally one of the other campers, not with our group, complained that he had not pressure let alone water coming out of his faucets in the unit. The campground manager checked everything and finally checked the hose connection. It was the gentleman's regulator that was the cause. I know you said the hose flow was good but the hose may have gotten something in it so check the connection at the unit for debri! Just two of my thoughts.

This is going to really sound odd, but it happened. When I hooked up where I am now I had a similar problem. Checked all the little screens on the hose connections, etc. All clear. What it was was a combination of the funnel shaped screen in my regulator's input side hitting a little plastic rod that stuck out of the campgrounds back flow preventer causing the preventer to cut the water flow. When you took the regulator off, good flow. Put it back on bad flow. When I switched my Y (no funnel shaped screen) for the regulator and put the regulator on after the Y everything was good. First time this has ever happened so it must be peculiar to certain back flow preventers.

I had the very same thing that DQDICK just described. Happened in a small private park in MA last year.

Turn the city water off and with water in your fresh water tank try the pump. If you have good flow to the faucets that eliminates most of the plumbing inside the unit. I have had low pressure problems twice. One was a defective regulator and the other was a hose that the insides collapsed when under pressure. Good luck, Jim
