Also, does the camco come with a bracket to mount it on the wall? I have installed my filter and hard piped it inside my understorage.

I always use one. You never know what pressue a CG will have. Had the KOA in Ottowa warn us to be sure to use one. What if we arrived late and didnt routinely use one? Problems.....

I, too, always use one as one never knows when you may run into a CG with high pressure. I did learn last winter that there is a higher pressure regulator available: http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...ead-free/49510

It brings the pressure down to 50-55 PSI, rather than the 40-45 of the regular models. Might be my imagination, but it seems noticeable in the shower.

I also found that if i go thru my filers first than the regulator I get the best water flow.

Any one know the GPM flow rate of that Valterra High Flow regulator? I see its set for 50-55PSI but I cant find the specs for the GPM.

ask and you shall receive. Just called valterra, its 11 GPM that's pretty good, considering most water filters are 2.5 or 3.5 and 2.5 PM is youyr average home shower. I might have to go and get one of these

If you have the typical Tetford toilet, they are pressure sensitive, as they don't like too much pressure. With too much pressure (approx 60 Lbs) there is a good chance the water inlet valve may not close completely allowing for an overflow condition. Happened to us when we thought the pressure was OK and didn't install our regulator, won't connect to water now without the regulator inline.
Good point on that. Is it possible to just regulate the toilet only? seeing that the Thetford is sensitive.

The pressure regulars that we have are from RVs that we had in the 90s and early 2000s. We haven't used one in our current rig (2015 Montana 3402RL), and we've had pressure at 85 PSI for most of a year without any troubles.

As far as we know, many of the water pressure related problems were with older (lower PSI) plumbing.

I'm at a camp ground now, and the pressure inside the rig is terrible, I'm going to try removing the regulator just for a bit. I think the combination of the regulator and the filter just might be too much. Even though the filter is not a pressure regulator, it ultimately does act as a limiter because of the restrictions of the filter and the housing.

I always use a regulator. I test the water pressure before I hook up the water. I have ran into a few parks are at 85lbs. It is recommended not to exceed 60lbs on new RV's and older RVs should not exceed 45lbs.
