Heater switch?

We just took delivery of our 2006 Montana Mountaineer 342 pht and with all the info we received during the orientation I seem to have forgotten what the heat switch is for on the system control panel near near the stove. Any help is greatly appreciated

If it is small rocker switch it is probably the switch to turn on propane to hot water tank

As racerjoe said, inside red lighted switch is for propane ignition for water heater. Electric switch for the same is on the heater itself, outside behind the cover. The other switch inside should be your fresh water pump for onboard water usage.

Like above, I have two switches on my panel. One labeled HTR ( I think) for water heater on propane and one labeled PUMP for water pump.

If your water heater has an electric element also you will need to remove the outside water heater grill and flip the switch sort of hidden on the bottom left hand corner of the water heater to heat on electric and save on gas. But remember to turn that switch off when getting ready to hit the road. I

On our new unit there is both a propane and electrical switch in our control center. There is also a switch on the hot water heater itself. With the switch on the hot water heater turned on the unit will not work unless you turn on the rocker switch in the control panel.
