Applo 1/2 time oven
Headed west on I20... A nice rough road.. anyway when we stopped in Monroe, La.. I found that the turntable does not turn.. looks like it broke the plastic shaft just below where the turntable sits on.. Has anyone had this problem?? Is it time to get something different.. we have not had any problem with the Applo.. we have had it 4 years...
Thanks...

Thanks Ozz that looks like the part. The little knob pulls off a shaft..
The shaft is what broke..Will looking into it further when we get to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in a couple of days..
Thanks again..

OZZ, you are good!!! never thought of looking at sears for that part. Ours broke a few years ago,but it broke at a slant that will let it catch when you slip it back into the base. Ours broke when we left the glass turntable in there. Don't do that anymore.

Wow, what a coincidence. We just had the exact same thing happen to our microwave!! We called Apollo, Midwest Sales & Service (800-772-7262)told them our model # AAC24B1B and they said we needed the whole motor assembly because the shaft is part of the motor. We ordered the motor for $45. Good Luck!

The problem is finding something to fit, the Bezel is the problem. All the options are not the same size, have square corners....like that.
I haven't done that yet, but I would not think it would be too hard.

Received the new motor on Fri.. Installed it today.. it took longer to take the Apollo out of the cabinet than to install the motor.. A nice easy job.. There is a plate on the bottom,, cut the 4 little metal tabs, remove the plate, unscrew the motor, unhook 2 wires, screw the new motor back on, hook up 2 wires, turn the plate upside down and screw it back on the bottom of the Apollo...Then the hard part,,, put it back in the cabinet...
