Trying To Winterize

I have a 2018 HC 345RL. I am trying to winterize it. Did the low water drains and drained the water heater. Turned on water heater by pass and turned on winterize valve. Hooked up jug of antifreeze with short hose to top inlet. Turned on water pump, opened a faucet but it will not suck up any antifreeze. What am I missing.

Thanks browens62 for the help. I tried that several times but did not do any good. I did do a little search and I flipped the inlet screen around to push down the check valve but did not do any good. I switched out the suction hose I was using and that worked. I had a cheap hose laying around and the male end must of been undersized a little letting air in. I replaced it with a better grade hose and it screwed in better and worked. All done and I switched my inlet screen back around.
Thnks for the reply.
