Got to check the length requirements and the laws on double and triple towing.

Can't tripple tow on the east or west coast and our rig at least is too long to add a trailer of that length and be legal in the middle. Never heard of anyone being puled over for being too long between the coasts, but it's out there.

Actually 2 trailers is a double tow not a triple which is 3 trailers.

Backing up has to be challenging.

You might want to be concerned about warranty. The hitch on the newer Montana's are not for towing but for installing a bike rack.

Wear and tear on the frame may also be an issue, re Lippert.

I think the hitch on the new Montana's is only rated at 200 or 300lb's

Even the hitch on my 2013 is not up to hanging anything on it. If you do use it, you best be under the rig making sure that it is safe to use mechanically.

I had a fifth wheel with a homemade heavy duty hitch that pulled a stock car trailer with and without the car on the trailer. No issues at all if it is made and attached properly to the frame rails. This one was bolted and welded to the frame rails of the trailer both laterally and vertically. Ensure you run heavy wire for the trailer brakes, that was the only real issue, heavy wire is required or you lose current.
