Over head lights in slider

Over head lights in living room sliders do not come on in living room port and starboard.They came on in the middle of the night it will not come on again.Assume bad ground thanks in advance. 3820FK

Intermittent ground can certainly do that. But I would not expect both sliders to have a common ground. Possible, but no real reason to I can think of.

I would first check to verify whether you have voltage or not to the lights. Good voltage but no light, then bad ground does become more suspect. No voltage then troubleshooting starts in the other direction.
