3400 Galley Drain
I have a new 2005 3400RL. The question I have is does the galley drain into a holding tank. If so, there is no stop/drain valve to stop the water from coming out. If I leave the cap on it holds it back until I take it off and then guess what, you get wet. I can very easily instal a valve but was wondering if this was missed during manufacture or if it was just a poor design. I have not used the unit yet. First trip next week. I pull with a 2005 Dodge 3500 Dully diesel. Pulled like a dream from the dealer to home. Can't wait for a long haul. Any help would be appreciated.

Check and see if your drain valve under the outside of the storage area drivers side is open. It should be located just in front of the wheels.

the galley valve is between the driver side tires. You will have to reach in between to reach it, but it is there. Enjoy your new coach.

mikedesj,
As the others have said, there is a pull for the galley tank between the tires on the driver side. It's amazing that the dealer doesn't show you where these are.
On my first trip dealer had left all the pulls in the out position. I got quite a surprise when I opened the cap. I was not real happy when this happened. I had to clean up quite a mess. Also the grey tank and black tank labels were reversed. Again, not too happy.

Mike, that's not stupid of you. It has happened to many of us, as is witnessed by many posts on this topic over the years. It seems the dealers do not even know it exists. We were very fortunate that both our Montana dealers knew about it and pointed it out. You had the foresight to seek help on the issue.
