Suburban 10 gallon hot water heater

Hello all, I can not finish a shower and my hot water is all gone. I even tried wetting down and turning it off but it still runs out of warm water once I'm ready to rinse. I purchased a eccotemp L7 tankless but I wanted to be sure that's the best thing to do before installing it. Any suggestions? 2003 model RV

Are you saying your original W/H was a 10 gallon?
Was your burner starting up when on gas?
Did you have electric option?

I have seen an 110vac element that replaces the annod rod to help heat the tank.
We have a 12gal tank, the temperature is almost burning hot. Must be careful when it comes out of the tap but we don't run out of hot water very easily. Back to back showers we also turn on rhe gas heater switch.
Also I have insulated all my hot water pipes behind the basement wall as far as I can reach.
Every little thing helps.

Something going on with it. We can take back to back showers with ours and not run out of hot water. But we don’t linger very long. We do have an Oxygenics low flow shower head. Normally run it on electric only. But if air temperature is cold and incoming water temp is cold I run it on electric and propane at the same time.
