3400RL Question

We just got back from our one-day shakedown. No major problems surfaced. However, just as we were packing up to come home, I noticed a blank wall plate under the desk on the left hand wall. I haven't had time to take it apart yet. Anyone have an idea what it is?

Hi Just crawled under our dask. We don't have one. Now we don't know if you are the lucky one or we are. Dan

Most likely it is simply a junction box for electrical circuit. Many if not all models seem to have one. Someone was going to put in a recepticle but have not read where it was actually done.

Well, with Dan's answer, I had to quit being lazy and dig around myself. It IS just a junction box. It looks like the place where a flexible rubber cable from the main body of the coach is connected to the wiring in the desk slide. I probably could put a recepticle in, but I really don't need it there. I do think I want another outlet, but I want it in the basement on the curb side. May be able to get the wiring from the outlet in the washer/dryer prep area. Thanks for the effort. And Dan - those blank plates often just cover a boo-boo. You're the lucky one!
