Something's Stirring in Floorplans!
Just visited the Montana webpage to look up a spec - somethings changing!
Under specifications, there are 2 new models - 3485SA and 3585SA
Under standards - in the tub versus shower options, they are throwing around numbers like 2950, 3670, 3685 !
No actual changes on the floorplan page yet.
Hmmmmmm

The 3485, I believe, is the new model that Glenn and Lorraine have ordered. We are guessing that the 3585 has the same side aisle and large all in one bathroom, but will have a different kitchen/living room configuration.
Far as the Standards page, HMMMMM??? Have no idea.
Isn't it fun trying to second, or is that first, guess them???

There was a link of the floor plan for the 3485 but it is gone now. It looked like the side aisle for the 345s everest. As much as hate to say this, the titanium has a much nicer kitchen. Their version has cabinets agains the bathroom wall. We like cabinet space, after all we bought a 3295RK.

bsmeaton,
the 3685 was the front living that Keystone discontinued this year (No 2007 models as of yet). Have they decided to keep making it? At the Pomona RV show, the Pilgrim rep told me the FL was their most popular model...wonder what is going on...

Tara,
It may be listed to cover the discontinued model, but doesn't make sense that they would re-add it now. It is a mystery.............

Seems to be a lot of changes and speculation lately. I haven't seen any real numbers yet, but was told by one guy in the RV business that things have been tougher this year.
I wonder if the manufacturers are trying to spur sales by finding a new sweet spot, or new layout, different amenities, etc. that will catch more buyers.
From my perspective, I would like them to just get better at what they're doing now, rather than always being the the change mode.

Could the new 3585 be a updated version of the 3575RL that was out back in 2003??

Since the 3585 is a SA model (3585SA) I'd bet that's a side aisle bathroom like the 3485SA we saw in Goshen and Glenn and Lorraine have ordered.
The 3670 and other numbers on the Standards page under the garden tub are probably just left over and not updated yet. Someone may have added the new model numbers but didn't remove the models no longer being built. That would be my guess, anyhow. Unless they're also on the Specs page.

It isn't all that difficult to update a website. It's interesting to watch how Montana seems to do a little bit, correct the mistakes they made last time, do a little more, and then repeat the sequence.
And we wonder about the things they do during the manufacturing process?

I forgot to add that all three of those models, Brad, are discontinued models.

Guess you're right Steve. Funny my printed brochure is more current than the website.
