The moment of truth

Hi Everybody,
I would like to share my experience after our two weeks 2200 miles
trip in New England and Nova Scotia.

First- The truck: our 2005 F250 Powerstroke performed flawlessly
and to this day I am impressed with it's performance in the New Hampshire mountains. The truck pulled our Monty like a feather and sometimes I forgot that there is something behind me. I did not have a single problem with it.

Second- Our Monty- I think this is the best, easy to tow trailer around. It is very comfortable to live in for any period of time. We did not have any single problem with it. I can't express how what a proud owner I am.

And last we met a few Montana owners (all very satisfied with their trailers) but only one was a MOC member (Hi Chris), but I took the opportunity to tell them all about the best RV forum around.

Happy trails to all

Jerzy,
Thanks for sharing that with us.
To tell the truth, I have been worried about my rig, I had a 30' Keystone Sprinter travel trailer, it was around 10,000#, and it towed great. I was afraid that my truck would have a hard time towing a heavier RV, such as the Montana. We had it delivered to our home, and looking back at it, I thought, I'll never be able to tow that huge thing!
You have put my mind at ease, I appreciate it.
Sounds like you had some beautiful country to travel in. We will be headed from Kansas City Missouri to the Colorado mountains where I grew up, I was wondering if I would be able to even get up the mountain passes, looks like I will.
Thanks once more. We'll see you around the Forum!

Ozz, you will love the way your 6.0L PSD tows that Montana. Your weights will be similar to ours.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

Thanks for sharing. It's always nice to hear about the trouble free experiences. Our F250 had no trouble pulling our 3255RL, and the new F350 does a great job too. Continued safe travels.

Dave, that's terrific! I remember your "in lust" comments at the Mt. Shasta rally. Now show us a picture!

Virgil and Karen, did you have that truck at the Mt. Shasta rally or did you get a new one?

Hi Allison,
It feels like I have a twin sister out there. I agree with you about Montana being like an apartment.
It is the most comfortable trailer ever. Good luck on your travels.
