No known fix

Had the new 3475 at the dealer the last few days getting the bugs worked on. One on the problems was that the entertainment slideout would not go flush with the floor. It sits up about 1/4 to 3/8" Today I was told that they (the dealer) could not fix it. Dealer called Keystone and was told that Keystone does not know what to do about it. Kinda hard to believe. I won't go into the issue of $$$ for unit that nobody knows how to fix. Dealer just called on the phone and gave me number to call in the AM. Also I sent a PM to MIMF. Has anyone else had no flush slideouts?

Dick, you might call MIMF. His number is 475-537-8900 or 1-866-LCI-SVC1, per his business card. I had the pleasure of meeting him on Monday and have found him extremely willing to do whatever he can to help. I don't know if this adjustment is his bailiwick but, if not, I'm sure he could point you in the right direction.

We've never had a problem with our large slide not fitting flush. However, we've had work done at the factory that was more than highly satisfactory. Our dealer suggested we call Keystone Customer Service. We did and they had us bring it in for some fiberglass crack repairs.

What Customer Service reps told me is that dealers don't call them to see what can be done. They said my dealer (Ketelsen's RV in Marion, IA) was one of the few.

I suggest that you call Keystone Customer Service, ask for Lon Nelson. He'll take care of you. You may have to get your rig to Goshen, IN yourself but it will be worth it. You can park right outside their building with power and water. What have you got to lose? Go for it! This is one company that seems to stand behind their products. We've had six RVs but this is the first time we received any help from the manufacturer.
