LED Motion detection lights
Last year I bought the 'Night owl' brand. Dennis, (Mudchief) found them. They were expensive, but nice for the front door.
I located a cheaper version. I don't know how good they are, I did have trouble with my Night Owl, contacted the company them said it was a production error that they promptly corrected, so you can't beat their customer service.
Anyway, here is the link to the new LED detectors.

We have 2 Night Owls and love them. 2 units for $40. One is in the toilet area and one at the indoor steps. Motion sensor LEDs that only work in the dark.

Ozz- Got mine at Harbor Freight and have one at the entrance and one in the throneroom. I have them set for about 10 seconds and that's enough to get to the switch at the top of the entrance steps or see what's going on in the throneroom! They are both motioin sensor LEDs.

Thanks Ozz. I just ordered two. Does anyone know if there is something similar and weatherproof that could be used on the outside next to the entrace door?

fyi: At Walmart I just found a motion light called ritelite Model #LPL905M. It can be wall mounted with either velcro or a holder with screws (both supplied) It also has a manual mode for flashlight use or two auto on settings, off in 30 or 60 seconds. it is for indoor use and it cost $9.98 The light head can be angled up to 60 degrees. So.for the money it is worth the try. looks bright enough for the bathroom middle of the night calls.
