Richard,

I have a letter in my hand. It states: Please note the following important Montana 5th wheel product changes

New exterior graphics
Mor/Ryde RE Suspension standard on all units built after November 20th
New front cap with hitch vision standard all units built after January 10th
New customer convenience center for water and utility hook-ups standard on all units built after January 10th

Current lead time on quad slides approximately 8 weeks

with this info in hand , I can guarantee all these items to be on your unit.

Thanks
Bill

Got this from my dealer today.I would not order till we had assurance that we would get all the new upgrades. We will order at the Toledo Rv show Feb 25. We want to give all those "skilled old world craftsmen" time to hone their 'skills" on the upgrades befor we order.

Just had the bedsaver from Blue ox delivered to my door via Fed Ex from NEE BRASS CA for 174.30. I think we now have everything we need other than the actual camper. The bedsaver will get installed when it warms up...perhaps May..

Rich,
I am very excited for Helen and yourself. It sounds like you two have done all your homework and research on which is the best fifth wheel for you. I hope the day you order your new Montana is as enjoyable for you as it was for me, and the day it arrives is even better.

The excitement mounts as Feb 25th draws near(order day).Helen has not yet decided on the interior color.Helen retires Nov 1st 2006 and we began plannng for that day 10 years ago.We are 9 years 2 months into the plan and right on schedule. There were some bumps in the road along the way but here we are.We have had a lot of campers but this one is very special it will take us on new and exciting adventures.

Rich and Helen,

Keystone RV has decided to work with me on the pin box situation. I am happy about that. I think it is in part due to this forum. The Glide-Ride pin box will be here in about 1 week, so in about 2 weeks I will be able to speak from experience on how well it works.

We ordered our 3400RL on Oct. 27, 2005. It arrived on Nov. 12,2006. Luckily for us, we were dealing with the largest dealer in TX, and since they typically have inventory trailers in the production flow, they just called Montana and had our requirments speced in. Since we had selected the Desert Sunset interior (the most popular), and did not want hi-gloss sides (the most popular), they had one already queued up that met our requirements. Non structural things like, king/queen bed, tables, chairs etc. can be changed with little impact on the production schedule of the trailer. 3 weeks sure beat the heck out of 8 weeks.

Rich & Helen just go write a check and don't look back. You won't be sorry. Then you will say why didn't we do this sooner. Remember you can't put a price on having a good time.

Mudchief..The deed is done.Options picked, price agreed upon money in the bank. Will order at the Toledo Rv show feb 25th.If the order goes in by the 1st of March we should have the camper in the driveway by first week of May or so.Don't want it any sooner as this is Northern Ohio and there is no use for a camper till the weather breaks AND we don't want the 1 year warranty winding down while the camper is sitting in the driveway..Skilled old world craftsmen you know...

Yes Dave I'm sure. My wife and I purchased a new truck and 5th wheel in September and are loving it. We go somewhere just about every week for a few days. We have camped in it in below zero temperture with no problems. They really make a good unit. Rich and Helen are right about the warranty if you are not going to be using it. We can't wait until spring so we can hit the road for some longer trips.
