Picked up our first 5er(learning the slang) and our first camper ever. We purchased a 2003 Montana Big Sky on Saturday. You guys here are so helpfull in explaining what to look for and what makes a difference. We went with the 3575RL, love the floor plan. One of the members mentioned to take an experienced RV'er at delivery but didn't have anyone (inlaws 12yr campers but too far away). So we looked at everything, found 3 problems they missed. Thanks for advice! We are just weekend campers for now but look forward to getting alot of use and enjoyment out of this unit. I use to be electrical engineer for Holiday Rambler about 15yrs ago, man have these things changed. Will try and jump into the chats when i can.

Good choice! The 2003 Big Sky was our first unit. It was kind to us both on the road and at trade-in. Buying a pre-owned unit is a great way to determine whether you really want to do this. We are now full timers, so i guess it stuck. Welcome to the forum! happy RVing.....................

Welcome Tom, as a fellow Hoosier I can attest to a lot of help on this forum. Hope IN - wow that is kinda out in the middle of no where but closer to Brown Cty State park and Versailles, a couple of my favorites, than I am. I too started out weekend camping and the occasional vacation so I know what you are experiencing with camping close to home.

Thanks all!! Sorry not able to get back sooner. Do a bit of traveling for my job. Yes we have been to Brown Cty, Versailles & Brookville a couple of times. We now hope to adventure farther. We are going to start our maiden voyage to southern Indiana and then maybe NASCAR Bristol race in August. Remote chance of going to the next Martinsville race.
I will watch the forum and watch for upcoming events. We hope to get alot of fun out of our unit.
