Oh my! If you can handle that week you can handle anything! And still stay positive! Welcome to the forum and your new Montana. I thought the week I took vacation and had poision ivy from head to toe was a killer... that was a piece of cake compared to yours. When I went back to work and told my story they let me use my sick time in lien of vacation time as long as I had a doctors note. Not sure if that would work in your case but worth a thought. The 4 y/o on the bumper is a nightmare. Especially with all the confusion with your son going on. Whew.... the what if's can drive us crazy so just stay away from that train of thought. You are truly blessed and it makes us realize what is important in life. Enjoy your wonderful family and Montana. You will have many cherished memories. Someday you will laugh about this one.
