12v lights in kitchen

I have a 2020 Montana and 12v kitchen lights are not working. On fuse panel all fuses are OK except the zone 4 fuse does not have a red light when removed. Anyone have experience with removing fuse panel? Any ideas besides turn off power before you start?

The way the red blown fuse lights work is that when a fuse blows, the current is redirected thru the red LED to the device(s) connected on that circuit. There must be some device connected to provide a source to ground for the current to flow thru the red light. If there is no device currently connected then the red light will not illuminate even if the fuse is blown. Lights are a good example. If the light switch is off, the lights are disconnected from the circuit, and current can not flow thru the light.

Try turning on the light switch and see if the red light illuminates.

Thanks for the reply, problem solved! Pulled the electric panel and found that mice had eaten wires. Spliced and all works now.

Glad you found it. Hope that’s the only wires they ate.
