Bedroom Speakers Kill Switch

Anyone out there own a 2007 3585SA Montana? We'd like to be able to turn off the bedroom speakers, but there's no kill switch for them in the bedroom ceiling. Is there a hidden switch somewhere that we're overlooking? From what I've read on the forum, we may have to add a switch to turn those speakers, I think.

On our 2007 model 3400RL the rear bedroom speakers were controlled by the DVD player/receiver. There was a switch for A or B or A/B speakers, the bedroom speakers were B if I recall correctly, so if you selected A, the bedroom speakers would be turned off. This was the prehistoric model of the Quest player so if you replaced it, this obviously would not apply.

Like Bingo, our '07 3075RL speakers were controlled by the DVD/home theater system. I no longer have that system, but if I remember correctly there was a button on the remote to select A, B, or A+B. Or maybe it was a setup screen on the TV.
When playing my Ipod thru it, I selected A+B. But when watching TV, I just toggled thru the options until the living room speakers were on and the bedroom speakers were off.

Send a message via Yahoo to NCFischers
Ours are controlled by an A/B switch in the DVD also.

If it were me doing it, I would put a variable audio control, in-line, so that I could turn the volume to off, or as soft or loud as I wished to.

Just a thought.

I turned mine off with a pair of side cutters.

Ours were just disconnected at the rear of the audio system. If I recall, they're labeled.
