Security During Storage

I'm a vinyl sign maker, and I decided this certainly couldn't hurt while my trailer is being stored away from home. I'm putting one one each side and the front. Hopefully, the break-in scum will just move on to the next one...(I hope I sized this image correctly this time! I did 800x450)

Smart I like that. Looks real. I don't need one but it's a great idea. You ought to sell them.

I agree with above. Should be a market for that. Looks great. Need something like that for mine.

Sort of like the Alarm stickers they used to sell at Radio Shack to stick on the window of your car without any alarm.

Guess better than nothing. Similar fake signs and video cameras out there for purchase.

Certainly can't hurt. You should start selling those at Rallys

Well at least you tried to conform to the MOC standard. But unfortunately the picture is 1,024px × 576px

After 30 years working for the Dept. of Defense, one thing I learned is that half of the security challenge is the visible presence of it. If someone thinks something has security measures in place, they are less apt to try to try to penetrate those defenses.

Looks great. Fits my philosophy--make the other guys stuff look a lot easier to get to. I use both fake and real security alarms--no one knows where except ME! Let me know where I can get one or two.

Great idea! Are you sure that the name is not already used by an actual business?

Looks great. Now you just have to hope that the scumbags can actually read.

Ha! That's a great question. I did wonder that myself when I conjured it up. I just decided not to worry about it because I'm certainly no threat to their product(s) and brand if they do exist.

It sure looks impressive. Its bound to discourage most thieves. Good luck and hope it thwarts any breakins.

I hope there is enough light during the night to actually read it when that crack head sneaks up there with his pry bar and starts forcing the door open. But I agree, it can't hurt and is probably better than nothing.

Good luck with the signage. After three weeks in storage last November our unit incurred $1,300 damage to the door. They didn't get inside probably in part to the dead bolt lock. I doubt signage would have stopped the tweakers from trying to break in. This winter we have a 14X40 enclosed / lockable RV Storage rented, little more peace of mind.
