Bad dometic thermostat ?
AC turns off once temperature is reached and will not turn back on when temp increases. Doesn’t matter if it’s in auto, hi or low. Any thoughts?

Had to call Dometic today to have them send two new thermostats for our 2018 3791RL. One started changing temp on it's own. A lot of known issues with them.

2018 3120RL .... "A lot of known issues", is a bit of an understatement. Changing temp on its own. Back and forth between F and C. Turn on one of the functions on its own. Reaches desired temp, shuts off, then immediately restarts, over and over. Non responsive to touch.
Lost my patience with the Dometic website. What is the phone number you called?

We had all the same issues. The thermostats are very sensitive, remove the faceplate cover and leave it off, not pretty but it works, turn the heat down to 60 degrees and set the a/c to 70 degrees, if a/c does not kick on turn on the fan mode, once it kicks on turn it back to auto a/c.

Yes, call them. Not only are the thermostats an issue, but if it's a furnace problem that appears to be the thermostat they also had a bunch of bad sail switches that don't do what you would expect a bad sail switch to do.

Time for a Lawsuit?
I am curious. It seems this issue has been ongoing for at least 4 years from the research that I have done. Many other sites like this one across other RV makes and models and their owners have the same complaints regarding these systems.
Dometic always seems to respond to customer/dealer complaints by creating a support incident for them and then walking through the same ole "TRY THIS", "THEN THIS", "THEN THAT" approach and after 4 years no end in sight it.
If there are any lawyers out there with experience in matters like this. Can you please help me understand why some sort of action in mass from a legal perspective would not be appropriate?
