Interestingly, the S637s that came on our 2021 3121RL are made in China and have 3420 date code. Never thought I'd feel better about a made in China product...

Yes. Please see photos taken at rural tire shop.
New Synergy G rated tire put on this morning for replacement and spare tire. Not ideal but will hopefully get through this trip.

We aren’t to that point yet. I’ll probably contact Sailun. Anyway I left the tire but took pictures. Didn’t want to carry if. We are on a multi stop trip.

I was more in a hurry to be mobile again than the warranty.
Because my tire failure was caused by the brake spring gouging a groove in the tire, I did not pursue any warranty claim.

Tire Failure
I run Sailun also with the TMS, but I have come to find out that I start out at 80 - 85 pounds cold and let them build as I drive. I understand they can be filled to a 110 pounds cold but I refuse to run that high. Also the weight of your trailer plays a factor into this also.
Also the company could have run into a bad batch of rubber when manufacturing the tires that would have caused them to separate from the tire that's always a possibility.

What speed do you drive when towing?

So speed is probably not a factor in this failure.

Have same tires on 2021 Montana 3931FB. Had about 5000 miles on tires, noticed bulging on tire treads at campsite and replaced with spare tire. Replaced on warranty plus $45.00 to get remounted. Very lucky it didn’t any issues while traveling down the road.

I have heard that if you aren't at your GVWR, you should set your pressure lower. I run mine at 105 cold in the Florida heat. I have noticed that the pressure builds up to between 118 and 122 PSI. I have to wonder if starting out cold at 110 might be leading to an overinflation.
Also, one of the pictures looks like the tire was a retread. I hate to think they are selling retreads as new tires.

Hi folks. I don't hang out here much as I have a GD Solitude. But a buddy alerted me to this thread as he and I have Sailuns. Mine are from 2018 and still doing well after about 14,000 miles. But we're always alert for Sailun updates.
In the first few photos of the tires, the ones with the Vietnam code, does it say those are 6 ply tires? The number is actually "276" ply. I'm not sure what it really means. That doesn't seem right. G rated Sailuns are 14 ply, my tires clearly say that on the sidewalls and don't have the DOT codes like the ones in the photos, just the date code.

I put 4 new Sailuns on from simple tire about 2 months ago all made in Vietnam 3 date code 4220 and 1 4320. I hope it was an issue isolated to weeks 41 and earlier. I am headed out on a 4K road trip Tomorrow.
My OEM Sailuns were getting a little old and performed great for the 12K miles I had put on them

4 tread separations
Because of the good comments here about this brand I put 4 on my f350 sw. Have had 4 tread separation failures in 3 years, all on the rear. Finally had them all replaced with a different brand last week.

Just confirming those were LT tires on your truck, not the ST tires reported on RV forums?

Just as I thought I could stop worrying about tires on this camper.
So many times I wished we had of stayed with a smaller/lighter camper.
I ran made in USA LT tires for years on my other campers without a single problem. It was nice to not worry abut them blowing out at 70 mph on the highway. If I were 1500 lbs lighter I would surely be running them now.
