2018 High Country 330RL slide issue

So, the floor of the dinette/recliners slide is bowed down in center the whole length. Gradually worse since new.
Had it in the shop and they say nothing to be done except using outside supports?
Is this a known issue?
Design flaw?

Thx

The slide floors in these HC models are flimsy at best. I changed our dining table to hang on the wall with a leg to the inside of the slide so it is much more stable and not affected by movement in the slide. With that done the flimsy floor is much less noticeable. Ours has 2 rollers under it on the outer edges. I've thought about adding a couple more to support the slide in the middle as well but the floor would still flex in the middle. I've experimented with 2x6's and supports under the middle. They work quite well but are a pain to set up.

Sorry, no real solutions but commiserating with the issue. We've made the best of it and stabilizing the table was the biggest help.

It's a common problem with just about any slide no mater the manufacture. putting slide supports aren't going to do much and could ultimately do damaged the slide. you have to remember it's only 3\4" OSB or plywood in some cases with no structure under it.

Check out this post I put out there just a couple days ago: Click here. I know the post is a long rant, but about 2/3 of the way down I talk about the slopping slide floor.

I'm assuming, yours is cable driven. If so, this is worth considering. I'm not going to repeat it all again.

If my slide floor was 3/4" I would be much happier. In the HC it's 1/2" at best. I might have even suspected 3/8" but most like 1/2".

Thanks and thx to others that replied. Yes cable slides.
Going to the shop tomorrow to review, will bring up the cables to be checked.
I'm thinking of having them pull the carpet back to see if it could be moisture related as well.

Why is Montana using these junk cables . I know cost. I have a 2008 mountaineer with hydraulic slides I have never had a problem. Wake up Montana.

All the OEM's have used cable slides for years. It's also a weight issue when they are making a trimmed down, lighter version...like the Montana HC vs the Montana. That said, the HC line has made a change for 2022...no more cable slides.

However, the issue in this thread isn't about cables, it's about the floor in the slide. They are also lighter material to help manage weight. Trade-off's I guess
