Connection to Remote Generator

We have a 3121CK with Legacy package. This comes with a transfer switch/surge protector (Southwire 41261). We were dry camping using a remote generator. My generator (Honda EU2000i) and 2 others tripped the surge protector when used. An older Honda 3000 was able to power the unit.

Any thoughts on why the the surge protector trips on some generators and how this can be corrected.

Thanks,

Never even knew this.........another great question and answer. Are most invertor generators wired without this needed feature?

Most will have the same issue or you could say the issue is with the EMS.

Send a message via AIM to L0veless
if used in tandem you only need one plug not one for each generator
