question on leveling

the pad i drop my 3655fl on is level next to the house, but the driveway to the street has an incline, up to the street. if i want to level unit to run the fridge before a trip, i have to lower the nose at least a foot. then i have to raise it a foot to get the truck under it. i feel that i am putting a lot of strain in the front jack leveling motor. it really seems to strain. my question is can a run the fridge level side to side and not so level front to back. it would sure save a lot of use on the leveling motor. thanks for any help on this question.
