New Owners
Hi Everyone,
My name is Stephanie and my DH is Pat, we are from NJ (for about 6 more months). My DH is retired firefighter and I will be retiring from military in June 2021. We just purchased (upgraded) to a 2021 3791RD. Currently out for 10 days...to shake it out (needless to say it will be going back to get work done). I am planning on doing about 2 years full time, DH says 6 months...we will see who will win this one....lol. Well now I am off to search forum for help with this damn ice maker...only thing we absolutely can’t figure out.

Welcome! The ice maker has a second shut off valve near the refer behind a drawer or cabinet. Lots of members have struggled to find it.

FOUND it. Apparently it was the valve under my island sink....who would of thought.

Congrats on your new purchase. About the ice maker, if your's is the Samsung: When the Ice icon button is on (lit up), the ice maker is actually turned of. If the ice button icon is off (not lit up), the ice maker is actually on and running. I know ... backwards thinking for sure, but this tripped up a LOT of people.
