Full timing is July 06.
This year left NH in October to MN for a couple of weeks and now in Yuma, AZ at Cocopa, great place, great weather.
Plan on staying here till April then a slow trip back to MN, then Nashville and then the NE rally then back to NH til Sept.

I have been full-timing since 1994. Wife and I are in Tulsa Ok working construction project as always. We will full-time another 25 years until retirement then go HOME...wherever that is! I would say it is 10 compared to living in motels/apts/rentals.

We have fulltimed since Oct. 2001. Just getting started. The end is not in sight. I guess that's a BIG 10!

Maria & Dave Russell...Victor and Jim, our pups. We picked up our Montana on Aug 1, 2006 and haven't stopped moving since. We lived on a 42' Trawler off and on for 25 years so the mobile lifestyle comes easy to us. RVing is much easier!!

We tried living in a house for a couple of years but Hurricane Katrina took it away. This is home now. There so much to see, we don't know when we'll stop.

Cathy and I are planning on leaving Alaska for good in May '07. We will be fulltimers until we decide on a place to settle, Probably Spokane, WA. We have married sons in Phoenix and San Diego, great winter spots but no summers there for us. We did 5 years in Tucson prior to moving to Alaska in 1993. Could not take the extreme heat of the SW, Hence a home in Spokane. But who knows, fulltiming may take us over and we may never find that "Right" spot to settle. We are both retired Mil and I am on SS dis. Cathy has a VA Comp also. We are selling our house and not sure what to do with the contents. AHHHH "To Store or Not to Store". That is truly the question. Hate to give up all my tools and belongings in case I may need them. Furniture is not an issue, furniture is furniture, but personal possessions after 37 years of marriage is another question.

Will probably place things in storage until we decide. Then the question is "Store here or Store there or Store Where? Too many questions on a Friday afternoon.

Any Suggestions group????

You can add us to the list. One week tomorrow. Real new. We sold our stick house in June. Went to Spain for 3 months and lived in a C class. Loved it. Came back to California and went to Costa Rica. We were going to stay there for six months, but didn't like apartment living and wanted to see the US, so came home. When we sold our house we planned to buy an RV when we got back form Costa Rica, so we did. Took possession November 26 and moved in the next day.

So far our only regret is we can't seem to find any place warm enough. But we will keep looking. If we can keep warm, we'll do this as long as we both want to do it.

Please add us to your next update of full time wannabes. Retirement comes at the end of June 2008. We want to be able to pull out of the company parking lot on the last day with the Monty behind and never look back.

DonandBonnie,
Shari and I used to have that same fantasy. We're retiring in March and have already sold our home, we're living in our Montana. We'll be skipping town within a few days of our last work day for parts North until we get to the to MOC Spring Rally in Buellton CA. From there we will head to Prescott AZ to check on our house-in-progress and from there probably to Chicago IL to visit relatives. Just knowing that we'll be able to hit the road after retirement is what keeps us going. You guys hang on to that dream 'cause it's a great one!

PS Nice TV! You'll love the Prodigy and the Pressure Pro. Be sure to get boost and EGT gauges.

Well, I'm planning on moving into the trailer (3475RL) full time when my lease is up here in the apartment in June. The thought is kind of scary, but I'm gettin' tired of spending rent here, when my trailer just sits empty until spring. Plus, I have managed to accumulate so much STUFF, this apartment is like one big storage unit anyway...LOL I've been diligently selling what I don't want or need on eBay, and what's left will go into storage. I'll hang on to the real furniture just in case I don't like it out there, but I'm not all that crazy about this apartment either. It's time for a change, time to shake up my world!! Happy New Year!!...Jan

Well, after an 18 month side trip, I guess you can add us to the official fulltimers list. We have nowhere else to go.

Hi there!

Michael and I have been sort of full-timing since November 2005. I say sort of, because, although we live in it full time, we haven't yet taken it anywhere! We (probably) won't be moving it until we have a TV, probably when I retire in 2013, after 30 years with the Canadian Forest Service.

We've had some wild weather this past winter, and have found that, living in an RV, we were much more comfortable when the power was off than many people living in stick houses here (had power off for more than 36 hours). We did buy a generator after that storm, and used it a couple of times since (hard to believe we live in/near Victoria, BC!).

We still love it, so rate us a 9.5 (some days are not so high - like when the awning got hit with a fist of wind!), and we'll be doing it for (hopefully) many years after I retire (I'll be only 55, DH 62).

REALLY looking forward to finally being free of the job and travelling, just travelling!

Kaye and I have been full timing since August 30th 2005. We are on our second rig since then and are still loving it. Can't give it a 10 because it's still hard to leave where our family members(most of them) are. Just like the rest of the full timers we plan to continue until it's no longer fun, we can't physically continue or some catastrophic thing happens. Besides, we still haven't been to all of the USA (haven't figured out how we can get the Monty to Hawaii yet). Put us on the list.

Please add us to the list of wannabes! We'll be fulltiming starting June 2007 or as soon as the house sells. Dave retired yesterday, and I retire on 25 May 2007. And I'll bet he's gonna be working harder than me during the next few months! :-)

Dutch & I began our fulltiming adventure January 31, 1997-Wow, can't believe it's been that long. Truly seems like yesterday we were headed out not having a clue about RVing [we had never camped or owned an RV before]. No plans to get off the road for us so add us to your list if you'd like to. I thought I had replied to this before but couldn't find it. Gibby and I have been full timing in our 3500RL since 12/4/05 and I don't ever want to go back to sticks and bricks.

I rate the experience as a 10 - only problem I have is generally we sit around and drink coffee in the morning until 10 or 10:30 and don't get the day started early enough but if that is our biggest problem we can deal with it.
